    Adjustment

All cabinets leave the factory leveled. Because floors are often not 100% flat, it is sometimes necessary to readjust the cabinet after moving it. Usually, adjusting the leveling feet in the plinth or under the base is sufficient. This obviously only applies to floor-standing cabinets.

After adjusting the feet you can also adjust the hinges or drawer slides. You will find instructions for this in our service manual.

    Spare parts

Please send an e-mail to info@pastoe.com with a picture of the part or cabinet including, of course, your question.

    Keeping clean

It is best to dust or clean cabinets with an old-fashioned cotton duster. Feel free to use an organic cleaner, such as green soap, if necessary. This applies to both lacquered and veneered cabinets.

When cleaning the cabinet, be careful. With the well-known microfiber cloths you can slowly polish the lacquer a bit. So wiping with a slightly damp microfiber cloth is fine, but polishing (brushing or pressing hard) can lead to shiny spots.

To avoid greasy fingers on the cabinet as much as possible, we recommend opening push-to-open cabinets with the back of your hand or fingers. Some people who don't like to bend down use their knee.

And, of course, stay vigilant about making scratches. Put felts under objects on the cabinet and move them not by sliding but by lifting. Textured paint is less susceptible to scratching than satin.

Liquids such as drink stains should be dabbed dry immediately so it does not soak into the veneer.
