A New Chapter for Pastoe!

Pastoe

Since 1913, Pastoe has been synonymous with leading designs full of character. Today, we embark on an exciting new journey with a refreshed logo and contemporary color palette.

While embracing the future, Pastoe’s essence remains unchanged: pioneering and timeless design. We begin by reintroducing two beloved designs: the iconic A’dammer cabinet by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar and the elegant Wire Chair by Cees Braakman. And this is just the beginning…the new collection will unfold, piece by piece.

Pastoe is back. Pioneering, timeless, umistakable!

New logo

Pastoe has a rich history, and so does its logo. It all began in 1913, when the company was still known as UMS. The name Pastoe made its first appearance in 1948, inspired by the French term passe-partout, meaning “fits everywhere.” A perfect name for a brand dedicated to creating timeless, versatile furniture that seamlessly fits into any space.

Fast forward to today, and the new Pastoe logo brings a fresh yet familiar feel. With its rounded, simple shapes, it takes inspiration from Bauhaus design. A lovely detail? The letter ‘A’ in the logo is more than just a letter, it’s a tribute to the iconic A’dammer cabinet. Its distinctive silhouette, with clean lines and horizontal grooves, is at the heart of the new logo design.
